Splinter Contemporary Artists celebrates 20 years of collaborative ideas and exhibitions next year with the publication of a book, a retrospective exhibition and a social event for past and current members.
President Meg Doller said the group has 80 current and past members, and is now contacting past members who may wish to take part or contribute to next year’s celebrations.
Ms Doller said the group began when three friends met for morning tea after graduating from Shepparton Shepparton TAFE Visual Arts Diploma course.
The first official meeting of what was soon to be named Splinter Contemporary Artists was at Kyabram-based artists Lynne Hume’s Humala Studio/Gallery on February 6 1998 with six founding members.
She said the group wants to hear from all past members to ensure the celebratory events and published history are inclusive.
Past members are encouraged to contact Ms Doller 0409 508 101 or email@example.com
